The first published work by the now iconic and generation-defining photographer Ryan McGinley. A celebration of his early work in its youthful glory. Not quite as definitive as his work to follow with Vice and into his commercial work but beautifully captured and put together. McGinley was a regular contributor to Index magazine, which gave him his first commercial assignments after he sent them a copy of his self-published book The Kids are Alright (2001). It's a true testament to the style and consistency of one of the best photographers this century.
