The jewelry in this book was designed for Cleto Munari by sixteen renowned (some real heavyweights) architects from around the world over a span of four years. The project began when Munari asked Michele De Lucci to design a ring for his wife, and soon after, made a similar request to Sottsass. Enchanted by the designs and prototypes, Munari became increasingly enthusiastic about assembling an international collection, to the point where he set up a small company and employed goldsmiths to produce the pieces by hand. Brought to you by Barbara Radice, the author of one of our architectural favourites Memphis.
