Larry Clark’s 1999 exhibition in the Groninger Museum showed a slightly different side to Clark’s work. Representing youth but through a secondary format. Clark took photos of film still from the iconic murder trial of Erik & Lyle Menendez, convicted of killing their parents. The trial was broadcast live across the USA and divided opinion on the entertainment style delivery the broadcast had.
