A great photography book from 2001, Suomi Pictures by Finnish Photographer Lauri Eriksson. There is something incredibly unique about Finnish and Scandinavian photography. It’s a youth culture we sometimes seem to forget exists in Europe. It has a rawness and toughness to it we neglect. This is one of the best examples. Access to a harsh climate and a private and independent country that has a uniquely defined unique way of life.
