When Terence Conran and Joel Kissin opened their restaurant Mezzo on 100 Wardour Street in 1995, they commissioned Helen Drew to photograph the people and places of Soho. The results are collected in Soho Night and Day. 25 years later so much has changed in Soho that the photographs have almost become a historical archive. Her black and white photographs are beautiful and evocative timepieces. Her book has pretty much disappeared too and has become extremely scarce.
