Stefanie Schneider’s Stranger Than Paradise is a mysterious world of faded dreams and illusions. She uses expired Polaroid film to make everyday landscapes look like surreal visions. Schneider combines the romance of classic road movies with a contemporary sense of fantasy. One movie in particular that these photos inspired was 'Stay' with Ewen McGreor and Naomi Watts, where reality begins to warp into dreamlike sequences. The result is a haunting collection of images where colour, memory, and fiction dissolve into one another.
