A publication produced after his exhibition at the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art in Oslo from January 20 to April 29, 2007. The exhibition offered a glimpse into Prince’s artistic process. Prince “mines” the landscape of American popular culture pulling jokes, novels, and ads to reveal hidden tensions and contradictions. The title itself is a metaphor Prince's role in navigating and signalling the potential toxicity of mass culture.
