French photographer, Franck Vieljeux's 'The Lord Of The Sands' is a little talked about but excellent photobook about the journey through the Peruvian Caballo de Paso. The black and white language of the deserts, horses, people, bulls and the Peruvian cock fights along the route interspersed with the vast natural solitudes of Peru. A fantastic self-published look at a traditional Peruvian way of life not captured as artistically and thoughtfully as this.
